Ilonggo Speaks # 1: Paraw Regatta Photos
This particular section I would like to devote to Ilonggos who wish to share their photos, insights, reviews, comments, commendations, etc about Iloilo in general. This photo journal is contributed by Banggi Cua.
Iloilo Paraw Regatta Festival is an annual boat race of native paraws (sailboat) that speed between Iloilo City and the nearby island of Guimaras every 3rd weekend of February at Tatoy’s Manokan, Villa. It has been hailed by the DOT as the best sports tourism event in the Philippines.

These sailboats (paraws) are ornately designed for visual impact and are separately judged for such.
