Pangodak #12: Maxinne Marie Sentina

Oct 14, 2011 by

Max confuses me. Can someone be so beautiful both in front of the camera as well as in creating something with her photographs? It’s just too much. Here, Max speaks:

My photographic work ranges from portrait, beauty and fashion themes to emotive, conceptual and dark art. My images exude romanticist fairy tale themes to sombre and sinister moods, combining digital art techniques and sometimes modeling stints with photography. I like being behind the camera as well as in front of it. I do self-portraits a lot, it allows for self-expression and experimentation, allowing me to practice posing and projecting for the camera, as well as creating good compositions. Photography is my escape from reality, because whenever I’d look for an escape from my troubles, my sadness, my insecurities, I set out on an adventure finding Neverland. It’s where I’m free. It’s where I’m beautiful. It’s where I get to ride on unicorns and become a hero and a princess.
