Outdoor Summer is Bad for Kids

Mar 24, 2011 by

As an answer to the growing concern on the ill effects of the sun and the fear of contracting dangerous chemicals from all the acid rain pouring down our scalp (which, by the way, is made up of millions of open pores), malls were created. This summer is no different from other summers. In fact, this year might just be even worse. So don’t take risks. Stay inside the mall. Enroll your kids in SIKAT ACADEMY Season 3. This year, the best and the brightest summer workshop for kids 6 years old and up will be at Robinson’s Place Iloilo.

Kids, I want you to meet your SIKAT Teachers (so you’ll understand why you’re paying that much! LOL):

Teacher Crista Sianson-Huyong is our music teacher.  She is an acclaimed composer and musical arranger who studied music at the University of the Philippines College of Music under the tutelage of Maestro Ryan Cayabyab. She composed a full-length Sarswela entitled “Juanita Cruz” and have musically arranged a number of musicals such as “Aladdin”, “The Lion King” (Sagrado production, of course), “Mulan”, to name a few.

This is me, and I am your dance teacher. I am a dancer, a choreographer and sometimes I like children. Kidding. So far, in the three years of my teaching SIKAT ACADEMY, the kids’ evaluation reflects how much they love me. Ha-ha! I specialize in contemporary, jazz and broadway dances. So don’t worry about tights and tutus. I promise you another grreat summerr.
