I miss dancing.

I miss dancing, I really do. I miss the days when early evenings meant sprawling on the floor for stretching, leaping and bouncing and turning and lifting. I miss the days when the choreographer sculpts my body like a block of clay and had me fixed on an exact position at an exact time. I missed it when I would change clothes three times in a span of two hours because I would sweat buckets. I missed the days when I spoke in full dance language, joking about performance mistakes and enjoying the company of fellow dancers. I miss the tech runs, working with costumes, feeling the stage and scoring the music. I miss the days when dancing was everything I had.
