Eat like a Viking

Jun 9, 2011 by

Our odd concept of Vikings are results of highly romanticized images of their conquests as strong warriors and used brute force to raid and rule. A bit of it has changed when the animated film How to Train Your Dragon was released. Oh how I loved that film. I can watch it again and again and the characters remain lovable. But during my recent trip to Manila, I have discovered this dining universe that gave VIKINGS a whole new twist.

Vikings is a luxury-buffet restaurant that overlooks Manila Bay. It’s just a few meters walk from SM Mall of Asia and if you’re the type who binges on just about anything (and I mean really GOOD FOOD), then Vikings is the place for you. They serve food fit for any Viking-wannabe. You must make reservations prior to your visit so you can have your guaranteed table. Here are some important information you could use (taken from Vikings facebook page):

Opens daily 11:00am- 2:30pm, 5:30pm-10:00pm

Weekday Lunch is 688++

Weekday Dinner and Weekend Lunch and Dinner is 888++.

For reservations, you may contact 846-3888, 846-4888, 846-5888 and 0917-565-3888.

The signature Vikings sea vessel turned into a sea of wonderful food.

I love their sushi/sashimi bar!

It can be quite confusing at first, especially in choosing which bar to go first! Hahaha!

Steaks, steaks, steaks! Winner!

When in Manila, dine like a Viking!
