Apocalypse Not Now

Mar 13, 2011 by

My heart felt like drowning as I watched on TV the rampage of unstoppable rolls of waves sweeping away everything in its path. I love Japan, and most of my friends know it. I fell in love with it even before I had the chance to visit it in 2005. Now that Japan is in the eye of a major catastrophe and the after-effects of the disaster, I feel for their loss and grief. I am certain that in the next few months Japan will be able to pick up the pieces and rebuild its beautiful country, but in the meantime, I offer prayers to my Japanese brothers and sisters.

The enormity of the distaster can only be paralleled in the movies and it is no box office sight. It is frightful, apocalyptic.
